1 Out Of 100 Americans Are Criminals

1 Out Of 100 Americans Are In Prison

Wow! One in one hundred Americans are in prison according to the recently released Pew Center on the state’s report. That is about 2, 319, 000 Americans. That makes the U.S. the number one criminal incarcerating nation of the world. according to the report, behind China and Russia. Thats just awful, unless of course, those 2, 319,000 chose to break the law.

Folks, you do have a choice here! You do not have to break the law! I know … Oh Crap … here he goes with the personal responsibility thing again!

And yes, there are some innocent people in our prisons … we know that. It is not a perfect system like China’s or Russia’s prison system. We should pattern our prison system after theirs, don’t you think? It would certainly lower the number of Americans that are incarcerated.

Chinese Prison

For some crimes, in China they just shoot you and then bill your family for the bullet. That certainly cuts down on the need for beds in prisons … doesn’t it.

According to World Fact Book of Criminal Justice Systems, the legal system of the People’s Republic of China is typically Marxist. As declared under the first article of the Criminal Law, Marxist -Leninist – Mao Zedong Thought are the guiding principles of the present law.

The legislators in the People’s Republic of China view laws, especially criminal laws, as the tool of the ruling class (synonymous with the state), to be used as a coercive force to repress the ruled. The criminal law represents the interests of the ruling class, which defines certain acts as crime. Hmmm … we need that thinking here … sounds like its right down Hillary Clinton’s alley!

Russian Prison

Or … maybe we should pattern our prison system after Russia’s! According to BBC correspondent, Emma Simpson, Russia jails a greater proportion of its people than any other major country; apart from the America that is.

According to the latest figures from the Russian Government, there are 829,000 people serving prison sentences. Conditions are extremely harsh. Many of these old Soviet era institutions are crumbling and badly under-funded. Prisoners also stand a strong chance of becoming seriously ill. Despite some progress, Russian prisons remain a breeding ground for disease. More than 50,000 inmates have tuberculosis, there are 35,000 people with HIV and there are nearly 90,000 drug addicts.

Sounds wonderful … maybe some of our inmates would like to transfer!

Seriously, folks. In America … you do have a choice! You do not have to go to prison. You can live your life obeying the laws of this country. If people choose to break the law, whether it be 50 people or 2,319,000, they should be in prison, albeit for varying lengths of time depending on the crime. People who decide to break the law and then whine and complain because they have to face the punishment get no sympathy from me!

American Prisons

Do you want to keep more Americans out of our prisons? Then stop teaching our kids that there is no such thing as right and wrong. Instead, we should be teaching them that there is such a thing as moral and/or immoral behavior, … it is not all relative! Make them go out side and play tag, sandlot baseball, backyard basketball … whatever … learn some social skills … and stop them from staying inside all day long playing violent video games like Grand Theft Auto, Doom, Killer 7, and God of War!

Grand Theft Auto

Thought I would just mention that, on the other side of the coin, the Department of Justice’s data show that as our prisons have filled, crime rates plummeted.

Speaking of Criminal

Did you know that the “Christian” church that Barack Obama attends in Chicago, Trinity United Church of Christ, presented Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Black Muslim group, Nation of Islam, with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Man Of The Year Award?

World Trade Center

Or …that the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, on September 12, 2001, stated that it was the fault of the United States that terrorists flew civilian airliners into the World Trade Center

Erik Rush

Sean Hannity stated that “many” call Trinity “separatist,” adding that “in some cases, even drawing comparisons to a cult.” Guest Erik Rush, a columnist for the conservative website WorldNetDaily, said that the church’s “scary doctrine” is something that you’d see in a cult or a extreme right-wing Aryan Brethren Church or something similar to that.

Erik Rush went on to say,”I would go beyond saying that they’re Afrocentric. They’re African-centric. They refer to themselves as an African people, and that somewhat disturbs me from the viewpoint of, well, do they consider themselves Americans? Do they consider themselves Christians? Are they worshiping Christ? Are they worshiping African things black?”

Is it a Christan church, or a huge black nationalist church? The pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, unabashedly preaches a “black” gospel. This is an excerpt from one of Rev. Wright’s sermons:

  • “Fact number one: We’ve got more black men in prison than there are in college,” he intones.
  • “Fact number two: Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run!”
  • “We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns and the training of professional KILLERS. . .
  • “We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God. . . . We conducted radiation experiments on our own people. . . . We care nothing about human life if the ends justify the means!”

The crowd whoops and amens as Wright builds to his climax:

  • “And … And … And! GAWD! Has GOT! To be SICK! OF THIS SHIT!”

This certainly doesn’t sound like any Church I have ever worshiped in, but then again, perhaps I have led a sheltered life.

Sean Hannity’s co-host Alan Colmes asked: “Are you questioning Barack Obama’s Christianity?”

Rush responded simply: “Yeah.”
