OF COURSE THERE IS NO LIBERAL PRESS BIAS!

Or … do you think it is merely an oversight that the fact that Eliot Spitzer is a DEMOCRAT has not been repeatedly stressed in the media? Not that I am condoning or excusing republican sex scandals! We need to hold all our politicians to a higher standard!

But so much was made of the fact that it was a Republican sex scandal, and I simply do not see the same loud general media condemnation of the Democratic sex scandal.

Even the former Hollywood Madam, Heidi Fleiss, who at the young age of 27 was already running a prostitution empire netting $10 million a year from clients like Charlie Sheen, joined a chorus calling for Spitzer’s resignation Tuesday.

“How can you be in office, when you’re so misleading?” Fleiss said. “You have to adhere to different standards, first of all, when you’re in office … and he was very aggressive in pursuing prostitution rings, which we know in this instance seems like adults doing adult things.”

The Associated Press, quoting unnamed law enforcement officials, said Spitzer’s running tab for the trysts could have been as high as $80,000. Earlier Tuesday, the New York Post reported that Spitzer has been soliciting prostitutes at least since 2002, according to unnamed sources.

Has anybody reported yet whether it was his money or taxpayer money?

Eliot Spitzer has announced he will resign effective Monday, March 17.

Still Reaping What We Sow!

The news reported last night that a new study shows that 1 out of 4 teenage girls (thats over 3 million) between the ages of 14 and 19 have an STD.

According to studies, Middle school children are having intercourse as young as 11 years old. Is it just me, or does 11 years old seem just a bit shy of an appropriate age for intercourse? I don’t think I had even made it to second base by then. In fact, I don’t even think most 11-year-old girls had a second base.

According to an op-ed in the New York Times, Republicans in Congress are attempting to add $28M to the State Children’s Health Insurance bill that was vetoed by the president. The money was to go specifically to teaching abstinence.

The editorial states that some studies show that abstinence doesn’t work, and abstinence programs teach false information. (Of course … an op-ed is an opinion piece and it was the New York Times … after all.)
Other studies show it does work!

And … how exactly does abstinence not work? Let me see, if you don’t have sex …

• You don’t get pregnant!
• You don’t catch an STD!
• You don’t become a young single mother on welfare!
• You don’t get an abortion at age 15!

Is abstinence hard to teach our children and to get them to follow … sure … but why?

Could it possibly have anything to do with the fact that our whacko liberal public education systems teach 8th graders to put condoms on bananas instead of how to read and write,

or that parents cannot discipline their children anymore because of the fear of going to jail for spanking an out-of-control child that will not go to “time out,”

or that some liberal nut cases think that 13-year-old girls should be able to get abortions on demand without any parental consent or notification?

Abstinence is taught at home by parents who impart moral values, a sense of right and wrong, and feelings of self-respect to their children.

Will some children still have sex before they should … of course!

But … 1 in 4 teenage girls with a STD … think about it!

If you can’t see the connection here … you are not as intelligent as you think you are!

Liberals aren’t racist … are they?

Liberals would never stereotype conservatives … that would be very un-liberal of them … now wouldn’t it? Liberals are very non-judgmental and open-minded aren’t they?

That is almost hysterical!

But who actually favors affirmative action, quotas, categorizing race on applications for jobs, school, etc. …. liberals do!

Who said Obama is only winning in the democratic race because he is Black … a liberal said that!

These are the very same people who are always calling Republicans and conservatives racists.

Sure there are some extremest right-wing ne0-Nazi racist groups out there … and they are certainly racist and I despise and their hate driven agenda …

but rank and file conservatives are not generally racist.

Rank and file liberals are, on the other hand, seem to me to be generally racist, … and with a hate driven agenda … an unbridled, uncompromising hate for conservative Americans … who by they way, are the largest majority of Americans (outside of Berkeley, California and maybe New York City).

This liberal racism is why the University of Tennessee, for example, has a Black Student Cultural Center, a Society of Black Engineers, and a special $100 cash “gift” for Black students to use to buy books at the bookstore.

Could you imagine the outrage by liberals if there was a movement to start a Society of White Engineers?

I don’t understand why all student engineers (Black, White, Indian, Chinese, German, or purple with green polka-dotted) can’t be in the same engineering society?  That would be true racial equality … but those tolerant liberals simply won’t tolerate that!  They have to have all those neat little racially defined categories to make them “feel good” … don’t they!

As we enter the eighth year of the Bush-Cheney administration, I have belatedly and painfully concluded that the only honorable course for me is to urge the impeachment of the president and the vice president.

After the 1972 presidential election, I stood clear of calls to impeach President Richard M. Nixon for his misconduct during the campaign. I thought that my joining the impeachment effort would be seen as an expression of personal vengeance toward the president who had defeated me.

Today I have made a different choice.

What is even more interesting to me is the fact that the Washington Post actually provides a forum for this nut. And not just the Washington Post … the entire media.

This “McGovern calls for Bush impeachment” story just broke a few days ago, and it has spread like wildfire across the internet. I did a google search and whammo, tens of thousands of hits.

I know that most of this lunacy can be chalked up to the power of the internet, but for some to treat this story as if it were an actual news story that deserves this level of attention, is simply ridiculous.

I mean … come on folks … really! A long-time, partisan, far leftist-liberal Democrat calls for the impeachment of a Republican president? Like that’s a big surprise!
