Progressive Liberalism!  Is it any wonder this country is in such bad shape and deteriorating so quickly.  Barack Hussein Obama is totally incompetent and, perhaps even worse, he has surrounded himself with a totally incompetent administration chosen for their radical left-wing ideology and not their professional expertise.  Obama is also, unfortunately for many Americans prone to not thinking for themselves, somewhat gifted at hiding his Saul Alinsky inspired progressive liberal agenda behind the flowery language of innocent sounding “catch-phrases.” Add to that the progressive-liberal media propaganda outlets throwing professional integrity to the wind while gleefully spreading the lies and half-truths of the Obama regime spin doctors; and Houston, America has a real problem!

According to an intellectually honest liberal study done by a California University; Fox News is fair and balanced (remember Alan Coombs and Juan Williams).  The other media outlets, such as NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC and CBS are extremely and unabashedly left-wing biased.  Let us not forget that our Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, prefers Al Jazeera.

Here are just a few prime examples of the kinds of things I am talking about:

Example 1:  Take Obama’s Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack.  Vilsack stated in a recent interview that “when you talk about the SNAP program or the food stamp program; you have to recognize that it’s also an economic stimulus. Every dollar of SNAP benefits generates $1.84 in the economy in terms of economic activity. If people are able to buy a little more in the grocery store, someone has to stock it, package it, shelve it, process it, ship it.  All of those are jobs. It’s the most direct stimulus you can get in the economy during these tough times.”

Is he really that stupid, or does he really think American’s are that stupid?  Does it even matter at this point? All the stocking, packaging, shelving, processing, and shipping are already being done to bring groceries to the few remaining Americans that actually work for a living.  Adding a few new shoppers paying with food stamps does not change a thing. How does the food stamp program create jobs?  Unless of course, Vilsack means to create more bureaucratic “food stamp programme administrator-type” jobs and then raise taxes to pay for it.  According to this “enlightened logic,” we should just put the country on food stamps … that should really stimulate our economy.  Apparently a few states like Texas and California were not putting enough folks on food stamps to make Vilsack happy and he is working hard to correct that problem.  California, of course,  is hard at work destroying any industry and losing jobs; and is, therefore, on the verge of bankruptcy. California may need to put the state on food stamps.  This should make Vilsack ecstatically happy!

Texas, however, would rather stimulate their economy the old-fashioned way,  i.e. by balancing their budget and then just putting people to work by lowering taxes and creating private sector jobs.  Gotta love those Texans!

Example 2:   Obama is a president who gives medals to soldiers who refuse to fight. Obama says he will “cut him [Rick Perry] some slack” for suggesting that perhaps “the men and women of the United States military want someone who’s worn the uniform” in the presidential office.  I understand that Governor Rick Perry served in the Air Force.  As an old Army “grunt,” I won’t hold that against him.  However, Obama has no military experience, and is gutting our military in a world that is becoming increasing more dangerous because of radical Muslims in Iran, Syria, Egypt, etc.  Oh wait!  We are perfectly safe.  I forgot that we have Obama Man, who with no help from “Rendition” and faster-than-a-speeding bullet; single-handedly found and killed Osama Bin Laden while leaping over a tall building!  My bad!

It is crystal clear that Obama does not like plain talk and truthful discourse.  Obama is pretty good at hiding his true intentions behind a wall of sweet-sounding political double-speak.  Taxes become “revenue enhancements.”  Bankers become “suicide bombers” while terrorist attacks become “man-caused disasters.”  Obama constantly throws out terms like “compassion,” “healing the planet,” “unity,” “helping the little guy,” or some other such liberal catch-phrase; causing all liberals to have a “shiver” run up their collective legs.  But as Rick Perry stated in his response to Obama’s chastisement, actions really do speak louder than words.

Governor Perry, responding to criticism by Obama, stated, “Yesterday, the President said I needed to watch what I say. I just want to respond back, if I may Mr. President, actions speak louder than words. My actions as Governor are helping create jobs in this country. The President’s actions are killing jobs.”

Ok … So, on the national scene unemployment is still up over 9% (16% among black men … and that is after Obama’s administration changed they way we measure unemployment to make the numbers look better), consumer confidence is at an all-time low, unemployment benefits and food stamps are now considered direct stimulus, the national credit rating downgraded, we are fighting an extra non-war in Libya, and non-racial black youths in hoodies are rioting and beating up white people in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania!

And, how are things in Texas.  Actually … they are pretty good!!  While Texas has 10 percent of the U.S. population, they have created 40% of recent American jobs.  These are jobs Obama wanted to take credit for.  Unfortunately for the Anointed One, they resulted from policies created by Governor Rick Perry; policies that are polar opposites of Obama’s policies.  I am seriously considering moving to Texas!

Example 3:  MSNBC, the bastion of  news reporting integrity and fairness, had one of their minions, Ed Schultz, accuse Rick Perry of racism when Rick Perry described the massive government debt and out-of-control spending our country faces as a “big black cloud that hangs over America.”  While Governor Perry was clearly referring to the nation’s mammoth debt, the ever-vigilant Schultz “discovered” racism in the statement saying that the “big black cloud Perry is talking about is President Barack Obama.”  Schultz even deceptively edited the comments made by Rick Perry for his show, to make Perry’s comments sound like a racist remark about President Obama. Schultz later admitted he did not present the “full context” of Perry’s comment, but failed to apologize to Perry or even acknowledge his despicable accusation … let alone retract it.  Of course Ed Shultz still has his job!  Could you imagine the professed media outrage if, say, a Fox News reporter had pulled such a stunt!  It is funny how drive-by media stars like Ed Schultz can get away with manufacturing false “racist” claims against conservatives, but when black youths in Wisconsin “flash mobs” drag white people from their cars and badly beat them … it is not considered a “racial” issue or a hate crime.  It seems that only Republicans, Tea Party affiliates, and other patriotic, American-loving, anti-socialists can be racists.  Progressive-liberals simply get a free pass.  In fact, Tea Party members, according to Homeland Security Director Janet Napolitano and Vice-President Joseph Biden are the real terrorists.  I guess Al Qaeda members are just simply misunderstood?  Now that is real news.

Example 4:  Poor Michele Bachman makes a minor gaffe about the anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death and MSNBC is all over it; shrilly and arrogantly beating it into the ground. Why then is Obama, a master of inconsistent statements and flip-flops on real issues, not called to task for it?  I guess Obama is simply not as news worthy?   Here are some great examples:

• As a presidential candidate in 2008, Obama loudly condemned President Bush for running prisons which lock people away without telling them why they’re there or what the charges are. Immediately upon taking office, Obama signed an executive order shutting down the facility. Three years later in 2011, Guantanamo still holds 172 detainees, and plays a vital road in the war on terror.  Perhaps he learned more about what President Bush had to deal with.
• In March of 2004, Obama stated he opposed  the government should take action against businesses that hire illegal immigrants as a source of cheap labor.  However, in a January 31, 2008, televised debate, Obama stated that we do need to crack down on those employers that are taking advantage of the illegal immigrant situation.  I guess that is, unless they are working for Acorn, OneAmerica Votes, or the SEIU; or they promise to vote for Obama in the November 2012 election.
• Obama has also shown a typical lack of consistency about the use of U.S. military force and Congressional authorization. In an interview with the Boston Globe in 2007, then Senator Obama declared that, “The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.” However, in March of 2011, President Obama authorized U.S. military action in Libya against the Libyan regime without consulting Congress.  In fact, he basically told Congress to go “blank” itself. I have not yet seen evidence of an actual or imminent threat to our Nation from Libya.
• Remember Obama’s words, “As president, I’ll make our space program a priority again by devoting the attention and resources needed to not only inspire the world with feats of exploration but also improve life here on earth.” I am curious how this jives with his decision to kill NASA’s Constellation program, prompting a former U.S. Senator to say “It’s bad for the country.  This administration really doesn’t believe in American exceptionalism.”  Actually, Obama does believe in American exceptionalism.  At a NATO summit in France last year, Obama stated, “I believe in American exceptionalism, just as I suspect that the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks believe in Greek exceptionalism.”  Except … Greece and Great Britain are bankrupt and struggling with people rioting in the streets because the government can no longer afford the many entitlements they have addicted their people to!  Now … that’s just the kind of exceptionalism we need!!  I’m just saying!!!

It is not surprising we have come to this state when you consider the true reality of the progressive liberal ideology. Progressive liberalism, is simply a sexy new name for socialism and it is the epitome of multiplicity.  It should come as no surprise to anyone that progressive liberal’s “principles” are based on whichever way the wind is blowing at the moment.  Their mantra is “never let the facts get in the way of a good story;”  and for them, the end always justifies the means.  It is not that progressive liberals are dishonest (well, maybe they are).  But in truth, it is the progressive liberal “ideology” that is inherently dishonest.  It is almost impossible to keep up a “win at any cost” mentality and still be intellectually honest or to have principles.

Progressive-liberals simply cannot afford to have “principles,” because if they go on record with their principles, they are seen for the arrogant, big government, elitist, socialist jackassery they are.  The liberal-progressive ideology is about massive central government control, confiscating personal property, removing personal freedom, and telling its subjects how to live.  Historically, this is the method and goal of socialism.  It requires a lack of real intelligence, a short memory, and a lack of imagination to be a good progressive-liberal.  Most liberals do what makes them feel warm and fuzzy at that time and are simply unable to look ahead and see the consequences of their actions, good or bad.  Logic never enters into the equation.  It is a purely emotional mind-set.

Most Americans would be outraged if Obama came out and promised he would ignore the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law, and rule his subjects by “executive decree.“  Or, that he would borrow insane amounts of money from countries who do not particularly like America, and at the same time, raise taxes on the hard-working minority who already pay the lion’s share of taxes for the non-tax paying majority to exponentially increase the size and scope of his authoritarian regime.  That is why he hides his agenda in phrases like “social justice,” “vision,” and the “future of society.”

Why? So Obama can buy the votes of entitlement-addicted Americans by promising them “free Obama money.”  Progressive-liberals feel they can do this because they are so much smarter and better than us … it is their duty … and because, despite the U.S. Constitution, we have no right to our own property.  No wonder Michelle Obama was proud of this country for the first time in her life with Barack Obama’s selection to run for President.  It truly is a “fundamental” change, a new way of thinking, and a re-writing of our American conversation, history and traditions.

And … it must be stopped!!
