Cristian Mihai Reviews Serpents Underfoot!

Cristian Mihai  Reviews Serpents Underfoot …

An author, Cristian Mihai, reviews Serpents Underfoot! Thank you, Cristian, for your great review of my first novel. It is much appreciated. There were several very nice comments in his review. Here are a few excerpts:

  • Writing a good thriller is mostly about the pace you set for the story. The way all the pieces fall into place, how you build suspense, how believable are your characters, the setting. It’s not an easy job.
  • D.C. Gilbert achieves this with style. The story flows smoothly. Easy and fast to read, which is a good thing when it comes to thrillers. There’s nothing that stands in the way of the story.
  • Also, the author does a fine job of detailing the world. Put differently, he knows his stuff. And you can tell. It’s always refreshing to read a book written by someone who knows what they’re writing about.
  • So, yeah, this is a great book. Well worth the time.

I would also like to express my gratitude to those who have reviewed my book on Amazon so far. It is now sitting at 8 FIVE STAR reviews (2 for the Kindle edition and 6 for the printed editions). Serpents Underfoot is available in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover formats at I hope you will give my book a read!

About Cristian Mihai

Cristian Mihai (born 25 December 1990) grew up in Constanta, Romania. And he’s still growing up, or at least trying to. Sometimes he writes. Sometimes he gets lucky and writes something good.  He can’t, however, draw a straight line. No matter how much he tries. Not even with a ruler. And, please, don’t ever ask him to sing.
