Armed Forces Day

This is a day to celebrate all six branches of the U.S. military

Nations across the world observe some kind of Armed Forces Day to honor their military forces and the men and women who serve to protect their country. Armed Forces Day is a joint celebration of all six branches of the U.S. military: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, and the newly created Space Force.

Today, and every day, we reaffirm our unwavering support for the millions of American patriots who fill the ranks of our Armed Forces. We are eternally grateful for every Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine, Coast Guardsman, and member of the Space Force, and we deeply appreciate the sacrifices their families and loved ones make on our behalf. As one Nation, we pledge to always honor this service and this devotion given to our great country.

President Donald J. Trump

It is a day to display the flag of the United States at your home and your businesses. I urge my fellow patriotic American citizens to learn more about our Armed Forces and their dedicated service members by attending and participating in your local observances of this day.

Remember those who protect our great nation

  1. How could I have forgotten the Space Cadets? I need to update my information to now includes 6 branches of the Armed Forces. Thanks for the tmely reminder.

  2. I didn’t know we had a Space Force. Interesting. My thanks and gratitude go out to all who have served. Your bravery and sacrifice is admired and appreciated.

      1. Wow. Technology sure has advanced. We now need to protect our space interest. Geesh. That would make for an interesting property (or space) description. Can you imagine the legal mess and jargon if they start parceling it out like they do land? Space for sale!

      2. Not sure that’s the primary motivation. I think it’s more about keep space from becoming weaponized. For instance, Chinese or Russian satellites armed with nuclear weapons, etc., aimed at the US or our allies. Kind of sci fi-ish, but that the world we live in today.

    1. That would be nice. But I won’t hold my breath. I am afraid that will take the cessation of certain folks continuously pitting Americans against one another, and dividing us up into boxes based on race, socio-economic status, gender, party, age, religion, musical genre, whatever … and just let us all be Americans!

      1. Your depiction is perfectly factual and clear DC. No neither will I hold my breath. None of us will have to. S burnout, miraculous spiritual lesson is in its way!💕☕️☕️💕
