As usual, your comment plays on the emotions and fears of the uninformed, but has little in the way of fact and reality.  You paint the picture of “Ron Paul conservatives” cruelly turning people away from urgently needed medical care.  Oh …. those cold-hearted conservative bastards!  They make Scrooge look like Mother Teresa! Did you know conservatives eat their young!   Barak Obama, the Messiah … the Holy One …  will save us all from the evil, fascist, chauvinistic, racist, hate-mongering conservatives!

Don’t like spending nearly a trillion bucks on stimulus?  You’re a racist!   Don’t like ObamaCare?  You’re a racist!

Why is it when liberals rant … it is “free speech,” but when conservatives rant, it is “hate speech?”  Need some examples?  Maybe I can find a few …. it isn’t very hard …

Remember when Liberal talk radio host Mike Malloy said: “Drudge? Aw, Drudge, somebody ought to wrap a strong Republican entrail around his neck and hoist him up about 6 feet in the air and watch him bounce.”

Remember when “stupid” Sarah Palin made Rahm Emanuel’s expletive-enhanced use of the word “retarded” an embarrassment for him and the the Anointed One?  She forced the left to live up to its own P.C. standards. Saul Alinsky would have been proud.

There will still be millions of un-insured under Obamacare.  The cost for Obamacare has already been revised by the CBO from the original estimate of approx. $900 Billion to $1.8 Trillion … and it will continue to grow. The programs you mention; Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are, themselves, on the verge of collapse; therefore taxes will skyrocket to subsidise them and yet another massive, unsustainable entitlement bureaucratic-nightmare called Obamacare. 
 

Doctors are fleeing the medical field or making decisions to not accept government-based healthcare plans because reimbursement levels are already too low and shrinking.  (I know this because I have several friends who are doctors … and no they are not greedy monsters.  They are normal folks, whose business costs are skyrocketing because of massive paperwork involved with regulatory compliance forced on them by Obamacare). 

Enrollment in medical school is down because not too many students can afford to take on such massive debt in the form of the student loans required to complete a medical degree program … for the dwindling return on their investment. Doctor’s work very hard for their degrees (typically for at least 7 years) and incur a great deal of debt achieving it.  To begrudge them a higher salary than folks who, say,  decided to flip hamburgers for a living or just go on the public dole …  is pretty short-sighted and very small-minded!  

Tell me  … do you begrudge George Soros, Warren Buffett,  AL Gore, John Kerry, or George Clooney their massive incomes?

And yes … even those dastardly, despicable, racist, hate-mongering, tea bagging, slutty, conservatives (who hate autistic children, the mentally challenged, and who want old people to die starving in the streets) want American citizens to have access to affordable, transportable, quality health insurance.  The problem is that Obamacare will not provide that.  It will only bankrupt the country.

I am not a big fan of Ron Paul.  I don’t believe Ron Paul is actually a true conservative.  I like some of his domestic positions, but he is not truly a Constitutionalist.  If you go back to Ron Paul’s early years and his influences, they include a list of folks who detested conservatives and the U.S. Constitution.  Ron Paul mostly uses the U.S. Constitution as a hammer to bash all other candidates on the head.  His foreign policy is to the left of even Barack Obama’s and I feel would be disastrous for this country and the rest of the world.  Isolationist-based  policies have indirectly caused several wars including World War I, World War II, and The Vietnam Conflict.   His roots are, perhaps, slightly less scary than Barack Obama’s;  while Obama is a Saul Alinsky “inspired” socialist, Ron Paul is essentially a Murry Rothbard inspired free-market anarchist.

A Run of Bad Luck!?

An old high school teacher, Leonard Keyes, once one told me that, “luck is when preparation meets with opportunity.”  I have always thought that a rather true and profound statement.  So bad luck must then be when poor preparation meets with an ill-timed risk? 

I do not blame Obama for the badly entrenched wasteful spending habits of our government.  Congress has indeed been financially out of control for the past 40 years or so.  It is not a Republican problem or a Democratic problem at all.  However, it is a liberal-progressive versus conservative problem.  The progressive movement dates back to Teddy Roosevelt.  While I admire Teddy Roosevelt for many things, he was also a progressive-minded elitist.  What progressives fail to understand is that there is  simply not enough money in the world to solve all the worlds problems by just spending more money. Throwing money at a problem to make it go away has historically never worked and simply creates more problems for us down the road.  Also, the “receivers” of the money become addicted to all the free money and riot when told the “gravy train” cannot continue. 

Liberal-progressives are very, very good at spending other people’s money.  Not so much when it comes to their own money! 

 Times are hard for everyone right now and even churches are suffering.  People are not able to put  as much in the offering plate these days. Therefore, the church cut its funds for ministry outreach because of needed repairs and upkeep for the church itself.  One woman, from a particularly wealthy, very-liberal couple, (they own several cars, an airplane, several homes, and lots of extravagant jewelry), was visibly upset by this.  She was adamantly insistent that the church increased the outreach budget.  When it was humbly suggested that if she would like to increase her contribution, so the past spending level could be maintained, she grew strangely quiet.

Conservatives tend to ask you to use the money you already have wisely … before asking for more.  To be careful “stewards” of the funds we entrust to them.  However, in the case of our government … they just try taking more.  The government has kind of forgotten the concept that they work for us.  We do not work for them! 

So the reality is that, fiscal irresponsibility is not a Obama created issue.  However, while he did not create the problem, he has greatly worsened the problem by doubling and tripling down on old failed economic policies and irresponsible government spending.  Yes! George Bush’s administration  overspent to.  George Bush was not a conservative!

It is also important to remember that Congress (and not the President) controls the purse strings, and congress has spent in an out-of-control frenzy for at least 4 decades.  You can run on credit cards just so long before the end of the month comes … folks, the end of the month is here!

So about this bad luck.  Obama was a popular candidate with many votes who did no real “pre-vote” research.  He was charismatic and good at saying what people wanted to hear.  Most progressives are good at being popular because their “position” is poll driven.  “What do I need to say to get elected?,” is the question they ask.  Then it becomes, “What do I need to say to get re-elected?”  What they need ask is, “What is actually good for the country?” 

I also think that in 2008, many voters, especially independents, did not really vote FOR Obama.  They voted AGAINST Bush!

What is leadership? In a football game, when the quarterback looks down the field at the opposing defense and sees that the other team’s defense has keyed to his offensive play and has adjusted; he is in trouble.  Does the quarter back just say. “Darn, that’s bad luck,” and run the play anyway.  Or does he adjust or change the call?

Stuff happens in the world!  Arab Springs, earthquakes, hurricanes, markets crash!  Remember the Arab oil embargo in the early 70s or the Asian market collapse in the late 90s.  I remember in the late 70s the impending “ice age” everyone was all in a panic  about!  Stuff happens!  A president should lead through these bad times … to take charge and lead the way.  Not to sit back and point the finger!  Obama is no leader!  What did he ever lead before he his election?  Nothing!  He was an obscure college professor and community organizer with ties to Saul Alinski and a hate-filled black liberation theology preacher. Obama managed to become a senator with the backing of the corrupt Chicago political machine.  He was a senator who voted “presented” the majority of the times he voted while in office.  He had never “led” anything!

He was popular because of his charm, his charisma, his clever puppeteer, and because he was the first real “black” candidate for president.  He mistook his personal popularity for a mandate.  I guess he felt his charm would allow him to “bridge” all problems and persuade the entire world to “just get along.”  Unfortunately for him, this has not been the case. 

Did America become the great nation it is because of luck?  Or was it due to hard work, fighting for what we believe in, acceptance of personal responsibility, and the freedom to try to succeed as an individual, and yes, even sometimes to fail?  Do we let America fail and simply use “bad luck” as an excuse?  I certainly hope not.  Most Americans do not want to live in the kind of America envisioned by George Soros, Saul Alinski, and Michelle and Barack Obama.  Those that do should just move to France, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, or maybe Sweden.

Left-Wing Progressives: Domestic Enemies

I live in East Tennessee where you can still find some honest, hardworking, conservative, blue-dog democrats.  Some of them are my friends.  It is sad for me … because for some reason, they cannot see that the Democratic Party they currently belong to is not the same Democratic Party their fathers and their grandfathers belonged to.  Over the last several years it has become very obvious that the Democratic Party has been taken over by the Liberal-Progressive Movement, which is simply a modern, sexier version of the Communist Party.

Many of you are too young to remember when the Communist Agenda was read before Congress back in the late 1960’s.  In this agenda, it was clearly stated that a goal of the communist party was to infiltrate one or both of America’s political parties.

Most folks have heard of Van Jones; Obama’s former green czar.  Van Jones is a self-confessed communist and a follower of George Soros.  Jones stated in 1992 that, “The Democratic Party has been purchased by the Communist Party.”  Van Jones is truly a snake, hiding his true agenda behind a red, white & blue cloaked American Dream campaign.

The heart and soul of the Democratic Party has been purchased over the last few decades with money provided by George Soros through the set up and use of 501C3 organizations such as Media Matters, MoveOn.Org, OneAmerica, and the Center for American Progress.

George Soros is a progressive, left-wing billionaire who currently resides in New York City.  A large part of Soros’ many billions-of-dollars fortune has come from manipulating other nation’s currencies and capitalizing on the resulting crisis.  Kinds of an odd thing for such a “benevolent” supporter of the unwashed masses to do … don’t you think?  During the 1997 Asian financial crisis, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad accused him of bringing down the nation’s currency through his trading activities, and in Thailand he was labeled an “economic war criminal.”  Soros is known as “The Man who broke the Bank of England,” for initiating a British financial crisis by dumping 10 billion sterling, and forcing the devaluation of the currency. Soros profited $1 billion on that one.  There is also speculation that George Soros may have used insider information to hedge a bet of $1 billion at 10 to 1 odds that the U.S. would lose its AAA credit rating.

Soros was recently termed “the single most destructive leftist demagogue in the country.”  He has given vast sums of money (over $7 billion) to radical progressive left-wing causes including ACORN, the Center for American Progress, Apollo Alliance, National Council of La Raza, Tides Foundation, Huffington Post, Southern Poverty Law Center, Soujourners, People for the American Way, Planned Parenthood, and the National Organization for Women.  Soros would like nothing more than to see America controlled by world organizations like the UN, the World Bank, and the IMF; and he is the sponsor of the “Open Borders” campaign.  Can you say “New World Order?”

Media Matters, founded by David Brock, is a politically progressive media watchdog supposedly dedicated to “fairness” in the media reporting.  It is interesting to note that, not surprisingly, all the “unfair” media outlets, according to Media Matters, are conservative.  Media Matters is most known for its openly-declared War on Fox News and conservatives in general. Liberal-Progressive donors to the Communist (oops … my bad!  Democratic) Party gave Media Matters $2 million.  MoveOn.Org and the New Democratic Network have also contributed funding. George Soros gave Media Matters $1 million in 2010.

MoveOn.Org was formed in 1998 in response to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.  It is a “progressive” public policy advocacy group and political action committee that has raised millions of dollars for candidates it identifies as “progressives” in the United States. George Soros gave $1.46 million to MoveOn.Org.  MoveOn.Org is most infamous for its comparison of George W. Bush to Adolf Hitler and its “General Petraeus or General Betray Us?” ads. Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly have both asserted that MoveOn.Org basically owns the Democratic Party and that George Soros owns MoveOn.Org.  This claim stems from an email composed by Eli Pariser (Board President for MoveOn.Org), and others, stating that, in regards to the Democratic Party: “Grassroots contributors like us … bought it, we own it, and we’re going to take it back.”

OneAmerica (and its PAC OneAmericaVotes) became famous when it was discovered that OneAmerica Votes (OAV) was using illegal aliens as campaign workers manning phone banks and going door-to-door. This group was formerly known as “Hate Free Zone” and is a Seattle-based “immigrant’s rights” group that is tied to George Soros’ “Open Borders” campaign.  Although this group was clearly raising and spending massive sums of money to influence state election campaigns, it did not register with the PDC or report its receipts and expenditures.  Major illegal!  According to their funding report, you will find that George Soros and the SEIU are contributors to this organization.

Center for American Progress is headed by John Podesta, White House chief of staff under President Clinton.  The Center for American Progress has been instrumental in providing progressive talking points and policy positions for the Obama administration.  There has also been a revolving door between the White House and the Soros-funded think tank, with Obama staffing his administration with many CAP officials

It is interesting to note that 501C3 organizations, such as these, are tax exempt charities, and are PROHIBITED by law from campaigning on the behalf of any candidate for political office, lobbying to influence legislation, or breaking the law or encouraging people to break the law (such as by hiring illegal aliens):

Political Campaign Activity

Under the Internal Revenue Code, all section 501(c)(3) organizations are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office. Contributions to political campaign funds or public statements of position (verbal or written) made on behalf of the organization in favor of or in opposition to any candidate for public office clearly violate the prohibition against political campaign activity. Violation of this prohibition may result in denial or revocation of tax-exempt status and the imposition of certain excise tax.

Lobbying Activity

In general, no organization may qualify for section 501(c)(3) status if a substantial part of its activities is attempting to influence legislation (commonly known as lobbying)…

An organization will be regarded as attempting to influence legislation if it contacts, or urges the public to contact, members or employees of a legislative body for the purpose of proposing, supporting, or opposing legislation, or if the organization advocates the adoption or rejection of legislation.

Activities that are Illegal or Contrary to Public Policy

Violation of constitutionally valid laws is inconsistent with exemption under IRC 501(c)(3). As a matter of trust law, one of the main sources of the general law of charity, planned activities that violate laws are not in furtherance of a charitable purpose…

Thus, all charitable trusts (and by implication all charitable organizations, regardless of their form) are subject to the requirement that their purpose may not be illegal or contrary to public policy.

It is not surprising that these minor details have never concerned any tax exempt organization that supports left-wing liberal-progressives; nor has it kept Democrats from reporting alleged conservative 501C3 violations.  For them it is a win-at-any-cost mentality. Honesty, ethics, integrity, honor, the rule-of-law, and the Constitution are just meaningless words to these people.  Imagine that … just another bit of proof that liberal progressives only pay lip service to “democracy” in their attempt to destroy our constitutional representative republic and replace it with a “benevolent” Obama-led progressive dictatorship.

I can only hope that my truly “American” democrat friends will wake up to this before it is too late.  It would be so nice to someday again live in an America that has FAIR & HONEST Democrats…

~ So … the U.S. Post Offlice lost something over $8 billion last year. Tell me again why we want to give the government even more money and let them manage our healthcare?

~ Business-as-usuall Republicans better wise up! There can be no compromises with socialists who hate individual freedom and want to destroy our country. America wants Obamacare repealed, the Bush tax cuts made permanent, and out-of-control government spending ended. We have to live within our budgets and so do you. If… you like your cushy job … better get back to your conservative principles!

~ I find it interesting that George Soros is unhappy with his puppet’s (Barack Obama) progress in advancing the Soros agenda for a new and improved socialist America.  He has threatened to pull funding from Obama and look for a new Messiah to carry his flag. Doesn’t Soros live in France?

~ I am so glad Nancy Pelosi is going to try and remain active and serve as House Minority Leader.  Conservatives should be very happy with that and support her.  I believe it can only aid us and damage the liberal left even more.
