Pssst!! Hey buddy … yeah …. you. Wanna know a secret? That’s right … another of Obama‘s “secret …. ssshhhhhh …. taxes!” No wonder Pelosi did not want anyone to read the ObamaCare bill before they passed it “to find out what is in it.” Did you know that it includes a new property tax? That’s right folks!! If ObamaCare is not repealed, and you sell your house after 2012; you will pay a wonderful new 3.8% sales tax on it? That’s $3,800 on a $100,000 home.
Wait just a minute? The hell you say? When and how did this happen?
I do find one bit of “poetic justice”, if you will, in this new secret Obama tax! Yes … you Occupy Wall Street folks … you 99% -ers; this is a new tax on you!! Yep! That’s right … this tax is not just on the 1% club …. you, know those dastardly millionaires and billionaires who own businesses, create real private sector jobs, hire people like you and me, buy the stuff we make, and otherwise stimulate the economy! This tax is on you as well! Obama is even screwing you … his loyal cool aid drinkers! This is a tax on Joe the Plumber, Bob the Builder, Terry the high school teacher, Tommy the cab driver, Harry the hamburger flipper, and Buffy the Obama-zombie.
So, you weren’t aware this new property tax was hidden in the Obamacare bill … were you? Well, don’t feel like the lone ranger, because … you aren’t alone. There are many members of Congress that also weren’t aware of it (Remember, they did not have time to read it). And … it was carefully concealed in a HEALTH CARE BILL; written by SEIU and ACORN, and then shoved down America’s throat by Pelosi, Reid and Company … despite the reasoned objections of most thinking Americans.
For some reason, it doesn’t goes into effect in 2013. Why 2013 … you might ask? Could it be that … it is because it wasn’t supposed to become public knowledge until AFTER the 2012 elections … when it would be too late … especially if Obama somehow gets re-elected!? So, tell me, is this the “change you can believe in?”
Under the new HEALTH CARE BILL all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax. If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. Simply put, this bill is designed to screw the retiring generation who often downsize their homes on retiring. Thanks very much AARP!
So, I have to ask you … does this make your November 8, 2012 vote any more important to you now that we’re finally finding out what’s really in Obamacare.
And don’t forget you pay that 3.8% even if you have no gain on the sale of your house.
And if you do happen to have a gain … your capital gains tax is going up from 15% to 20% PLUS the 3.8% tax. Wow! It just keeps getting better!
So, we are finding all these new secret, indirect, and otherwise hidden “Revenue Enhancements,” and still Obama wants to raise taxes to fund more “shovel ready jobs” for his campaign bundler buddies, ohhh … and his family’s vacations and new ergonomic grips for his golf clubs!!
I now this is not a real letter sent by an employer to his employees. It is an email “joke!” But, despite that … it has a great deal of truth in it … it really hits the nail on the head. So I posted it here. Read through to end, it makes a lot of sense!
There have been some rumblings around the office about the future of this company, and more specifically, your job. As you know, the economy has changed for the worse and presents many challenges. However, the good news is this: The economy doesn’t pose a threat to your job.
What does threaten your job however, is the changing political landscape in this country. Of course, as your employer, I am forbidden to tell you whom to vote for – it is against the law to discriminate based on political affiliation, race, creed, religion, etc.
Please vote for who you think will serve your interests the best. However, let me tell you some little tidbits of fact which might help you decide what is in your best interest. First, while it is easy to spew rhetoric that casts employers against employees, you have to understand that for every business owner there is a back story.
This back story is often neglected and overshadowed by what you see and hear. Sure, you see me park my Mercedes outside. You saw my big home at last years Christmas party. I’m sure all these flashy icons of luxury conjure up some idealized thoughts about my life. However, what you don’t see is the back story.
I started this company 12 years ago. At that time, I lived in a 300 square foot studio apartment for 3 years. My entire living space was converted into an office so I could put forth 100% effort into building a company, which by the way, would eventually employ you.
My diet consisted of Ramen Pride noodles because every dollar I spent went back into this company. I drove a rusty Toyota Corolla with a defective transmission. I didn’t have time to date. Often times, I stayed home on weekends, while my friends went out drinking and partying. In fact, I was married to my business — hard work, discipline, and sacrifice.
Meanwhile, my friends got jobs. They worked 40 hours a week and made a modest $50K a year and spent every dime they earned. They drove flashy cars and lived in expensive homes and wore fancy designer clothes. Instead of hitting Nordstrom’s for the latest hot fashion item, I was trolling through the Goodwill store extracting any clothing item that didn’t look like it was birthed in the 70’s.
My friends refinanced their mortgages and lived a life of luxury. I, however, did not. I put my time, my money, and my life into a business — with a vision that eventually, some day, I too, will be able to afford these luxuries my friends supposedly had.
So, while you physically arrive at the office at 9 am, mentally check in at about noon, and then leave at 5 pm, I don’t. There is no “off” button for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend all to yourself. I unfortunately do not have the freedom. I eat, ****, and breathe this company every minute of the day. There is no rest. There is no weekend. There is no happy hour. Every day this business is attached to me like a 1 day old baby.
You, of course, only see the fruits of that garden — the nice house, the Mercedes, the vacations… You never realize the back story and the sacrifices I’ve made. Now, the economy is falling apart and I, the guy that made all the right decisions and saved his money, have to bail out all the people who didn’t.
The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed a decade of my life for. Yes, business ownership has its benefits but the price I’ve paid is steep and not without wounds. Unfortunately, the cost of running this business, and employing you, is starting to eclipse the threshold of marginal benefit and let me tell you why:
I am being taxed to death and the government thinks I don’t pay enough. I have state taxes. Federal taxes. Property taxes. Sales and use taxes. Payroll taxes. Workers compensation taxes. Unemployment taxes. Taxes on taxes. I have to hire a tax man to manage all these taxes and then guess what? I have to pay taxes for employing him. Government mandates and regulations and all the accounting that goes with it, now occupy most of my time. On Oct 15th, I wrote a check to the US Treasury for $288,000 for quarterly taxes. You know what my “stimulus” check was? Zero. Nada. Zilch.
The question I have is this: Who is stimulating the economy? Me, the guy who has provided 14 people good paying jobs and serves over 2,200,000 people per year with a flourishing business? Or, the single mother sitting at home pregnant with her fourth child waiting for her next welfare check?
Obviously, government feels the latter is the economic stimulus of this country. The fact is, if I deducted (Read: Stole) 50% of your paycheck you’d quit and you wouldn’t work here. I mean, why should you? That’s nuts. Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, I agree which is why your job is in jeopardy. Here is what many of you don’t understand …to stimulate the economy you need to stimulate what runs the economy. Had suddenly government mandated to me that I didn’t need to pay taxes, guess what? Instead of depositing that $288,000 into the Washington black-hole, I would have spent it, hired more employees, and generated substantial economic growth. My employees would have enjoyed the wealth of that tax cut in the form of promotions and better salaries. But you can forget it now.
When you have a comatose man on the verge of death, you don’t defibrillate and shock his thumb thinking that will bring him back to life, do you? Or, do you defibrillate his heart? Business is at the heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate it, not kill it. Suddenly, the power brokers in Washington believe the mud of America are the essential drivers of the American economic engine.
Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change you can keep. So where am I going with all this? It’s quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, my reaction will be swift and simple. I fire you. I fire your co-workers. You can then plead with the government to pay for your mortgage, your SUV, and your child’s future. Frankly, it isn’t my problem any more. Then, I will close this company down, move to another country, and retire.
You see, I’m done. I’m done with a country that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, will be my citizenship.
While tax cuts to 95% of America sounds great on paper, don’t forget the back story: If there is no job, there is no income to tax. A tax cut on zero dollars is zero. So, when you make decision to vote, ask yourself, who understands the economics of business ownership and who doesn’t? Whose policies will endanger your job? Answer those questions and you should know who might be the one capable of saving your job. While the media wants to tell you “It’s the economy Stupid” I’m telling you it isn’t.
If you lose your job, it won’t be at the hands of the economy; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country, steamrolled the Constitution, and will have changed its landscape forever. If that happens, you can find me in the South Caribbean sitting on a beach, retired, and with no employees to worry about.

Obama strikes again … positioning himself as the proud defender of the American middle class.
“Either we ask the wealthiest Americans to pay their fair share in taxes or we’re going to have to ask seniors to pay more for Medicare. We can’t afford to do both. This is not class warfare, its math,” Obama stated to a cheering audience of cool aid drinking Obama-zombies.
“If asking a billionaire to pay the same tax rate as a teacher makes me a warrior for the middle class, I wear it as a badge of honor,” Obama proudly exclaimed!
Just the kind of words you would expect to send a shiver up the legs of eat-the-rich progressive-liberals who can’t wait to line up for their “free Obama money!” Sounds to me like he is working up to admitting he is a socialist. Maybe that will be in next week’s speech.
If what Obama is doing is not waging class warfare on higher earning Americans to win the votes of lazy socialist-minded welfare recipients, and if it is indeed just “math;” it is the fuzziest math I have ever seen. In fact … it is an outright lie. But then, Obama has never been one to let the truth get in the way of a good story!
Obama is basically saying that instead of having a spending problem, America has a revenue problem. This could not be further from the truth. The Obama administration’s spending frenzy is unsustainable. In fact, do you remember when Obama stated that the current deficit spending is “unsustainable.”
“We can’t keep on just borrowing from China,” Obama said in May of 2009 at a town-hall meeting in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, outside Albuquerque. “We have to pay interest on that debt, and that means we are mortgaging our children’s future with more and more debt.”
I guess the wind must have changed, because now Obama, master of the “blame-everyone-but-me” game, is now trying to blame the “wealthiest Americans” for America’s economic woes. Of course, this is exactly what SEIU, ACORN, and Vote smart-minded people hear! It is definitely class warfare and one of Obama’s re-election strategies it to divide, create mode discord, and conquer. The truth is, however, it is simply re-election campaign rhetoric, it is dishonest, and it is definitely un-presidential.
It is time for Americans to stand up and demand to know what he means by “pay their fair share.” Obama keeps using the phrase “millionaires and billionaires” in his campaign speeches. This is part of his fuzzy new math … that defines anyone who earns $200,000 and more as a “millionaire and billionaire.” How does earning $200,000 equate to being a millionaire? The NEA and local teacher’s unions (strong Obama supporters all) have been trying to teach this “math” in our public schools for years
How does Obama define “fair share.” Real math shows that “wealthiest Americans” pay the majority of federal income taxes, while the only group not paying its “fair share” is the 47 percent of wage earners in this country who pay no federal income tax at all. Again … sounds like class warfare to me!
There is nothing stopping Obama’s good friend, Warren Buffet from paying more taxes. Obama said in hs jobs speech that Warren Buffet told him that he felt he should pay more taxes because he is wealthy and can afford to. Why then is Mr. Buffet fighting against paying $1 billion in the back taxes he owes. He should happily pay that and more!
Obama assumes that, we fly over Americans (because we do not live in New England or California), are too stupid to do the math. Obama tells us that if we just raise the taxes on “wealthy Americans,” the deficit problem will go away. This is simply not true and another example of Obama’s fuzzy math. Several independent researchers have done real number crunching (you know, the kind of math schools taught before our public schools became progressive-liberal “brainwashing programs” and the NEA began to re-write American history and develop curriculums based on political correctness).
The truth is that if the government actually confiscated 100 % of all income over $200,000 per year, the federal government would gain about $221 billion! So … if Obama were to actually be honest with his voters … this “revenue enhancement” would not even cover the $714 billion he spent on anti-poverty programs last year; never mind cover Obama’s increased spending for his American Jobs Act!
What Obama is really trying to do is to frame the 2012 election around race. If he can convince enough black and hispanic voters who are now upset with his performance that the Tea Party is racist, then he may have a chance at being re-elected in 2012. This is what Obama is secretly and desperately trying to do … and he has help from people I never would he suspected.
Morgan Freeman, a man I once respected as a man and an actor (I loved his roles in Invictus and Million Dollar Baby … among others) accused the Tea party of being racist in an interview on CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight saying,
“Their stated policy, publicly stated, is to do whatever it takes to see to it that Obama only serves one term. What underlines that? ‘Screw the country. We’re going to whatever we can to get this black man outta here.”
No Mr. Freeman. You are dead wrong. It is not that “We’re going to do whatever we can to get this black man outta here.” Are there racists in this country? Of course there are! On both sides. I would argue that anyone who wants to keep Obama in office just because he is black, and ignores the fact his is destroying our country … is a racist! But that is not what this is about!
It is the fact that Obama (whether he is black, white, bi-racial, or pink with purple polka dots) is destroying this country! His Soros-orchestrated policies are leading American down the same failed path that has already destroyed most of western culture … the path to big government with its sluggish bureaucratic centralized control, out-of-control spending, and unsustainable social welfare programs; that (while popular with 3rd and 4th generation welfare recipients and those with socialist or communist leanings) will lead this country to bankruptcy … just like it has Greece and most other EU member nations.
In case Morgan Freeman hasn’t noticed, Herman Cain is black … and a doing very well in Tea Party circles. I guess he would call Allen West, Marco Rubio, Alan Keyes, Nikki Haley, Susana Martinez, James White, and Stefani Carter racist!
I really like Herman Cain’s comments on Morgan Freeman’s “the Tea Party is racist” statement:
“Well, first of all, I doubt if Morgan Freeman, with all due respect, who is a great actor, has ever been to a Tea Party,” Cain said. “Most of the people that are criticizing the Tea Parties … about having a racist element, they have never been to a Tea Party.”
Cain, whose campaign is doing very well after winning the Florida straw poll, was quick to say that he was not offended by the Freeman’s remarks:
“I just think that it is sad that they’re so short-sighted in really understanding what the whole Tea Party citizen movement is all about,” he continued. “I’m not offended by it, because it doesn’t slow down my momentum. It doesn’t slow down the reaction that I get from people.”
“So, name-calling is something that’s going to continue in this, because they don’t know how to stop this movement. And this movement is making a big difference in politics, because a lot of the traditional Democrats are moving to the center or moving over to vote for conservatives. They’re taking another look at a Herman Cain.”
What scares Obama’s campaign so much is that they do not know how to stop the Tea Party movement! Normally, progressive-liberals would just buy them off. That is how, as van Jones said, the communists bought the Democratic party. In the past, they would just pass some massive pork spending bill and slip the money out the back door to pay off the trouble makers … and the problem goes away.
This tactic will not work on the Tea Party because the Tea Party is made up of American heartland-type Americans, including Republicans and Democrats, Blacks, Whites, and Hispanics. Tea Party members want to end just that kind of corrupt, Chicago-style, backroom deal making; and to get back to ideas like being proud to be an American, having a balanced budget, fiscal responsibility the federal government level, and yes … individual responsibility.
Progressive-liberals simply do not understand that kind of thinking. They kneel at the altar of big government and are petrified of the idea of Americans thinking for themselves and making decision without out their “guidance.” They have no choice but to resort to scare tactics and name calling. And … as November 2012 approaches it will get much worse!!
Despite what Morgan Freeman says, Obama’s re-election is a clear and present danger to this country’s future as the last standing bastion for individual freedom and liberty. Racism does not enter into the equation. It is a sad commentary on how far this country has fallen from the greatness our ancestors fought and struggled for, but the sad truth is that if enough voters are more motivated by the selfish entitlement mentality fostered by progressive-liberal’s over the last several decades, than by what is truly best for America and the majority of patriotic Americans living here, he can be re-elected. It is time for the silent majority to no longer be silent. It is time for conservatives to go against the nature and stand up and be heard … loudly and forcefully.
Well, the word is out! Obama wants $1.5 trillion in new tax increases. Of course, this will only affect the rich and corporations … you know. Except that … corporations do not pay taxes. They pass the additional cost of doing business on to the consumer. Ummm! For you highly intelligent progressive-liberal types … that’s you and me! It is good, however, to hear the rich are finally going to pay their fair share … since they already pay something like 90% federal income tax revenues already.
Of course that may cut down on the ability of lots of small businesses to hire new employees … but that’s ok too … since Obama is going to just have us all work for the government. That might need still more taxes … to pay everyone … but you know …. fair is fair! Wouldn’t Jimmy Carter be proud!!

If Obama’s administration would just quit wasting our money … like:
Giving $650 million for a digital television converter box coupon program
Michelle Obama spending $10 million in tax payer funds on vacations in just one year
Paying $3.5 million for repainting and adding a security camera to one bridge in Oregon
Giving $8 million to a Missouri bridge project that was already fully funded by the state
Wasting $1 million on road signs touting stimulus funds at work in Ohio
And last but not least … sponsoring jello wrestling matches in the frozen wastelands of Antarctica …
We would probably not need to raise taxes!
Canada is creating more jobs for Americans than Obama is! How are they doing that … drilling for oil! Hmmmm! And … we still are not! Why?
It seems that Obama did his part to support the Canadian job market. The two buses he bought for his recent tax-payer financed luxury bus tour were made in Canada. The Prevost buses coast $1.1 million each and are the company’s top of the line luxury models … like those used by major traveling rock bands. It is good to see Obama getting the finest in Canadian exports … while 14 million Americans are unemployed.
Well, we learned how Obama is going to fund his jobs (and I use the term loosely) act! Higher taxes!! Half a trillion dollars worth! Of course, in his jobs speech it was going to be fully funded by cutting spending … who would have thunk! And, his taxes are on single earners making over $200,000, and couple and small business owners making $250,000 per year. Like this is wealthy? Maybe it is in East Tennessee, but it is middle-income in Los Angeles, New York City, and Connecticut! And the extra taxing of small private-sector business owners who create 70% of the real job growth, and funneling that money through the federal bureaucracy (making sure their pensions and benefits are safe) and sending the rest out the back door to give temporary jobs to union (NEA) workers who support Obama’s political agenda is corrupt Chicago political machine politics at its best!!
But … hey … for three and one half years, Obama has been tirelessly working; doing what needs to be done to fundamentally transform this great county into a shadow of its former self … a giant, centrally mismanaged, self-loathing, apologetic, socialist nanny state that Michele Obama can be proud of.
Truthfully, if Obama had worked tirelessly at what he has been “actually” doing … we would be in deeper shit than we are now! Fortunately, he and Michele have mostly been living it up like royalty; jet setting around in separate jets, taking extravagant tax payer funded vacations, playing endless rounds of golf, redistributing tax payer money to their cronies, and attending lavish fund-raisers.
So why do we need to fund still more “shovel ready” construction jobs on roads, bridges, and schools? Isn’t that what the last “porkulus” package was supposed to do? Oh yeah … I forgot … that $1 trillion went to …. ummm …. ummm … can anybody tell me?
Oh yeah! To fund green energy projects like Solyndra.

Well, the owners of Solyndra have a “brighter and more prosperous future.” That is for sure. Somebody got the $535 million Obama gave them just before they closed their doors! Anybody hear anything about that from the liberal, drive-by media?
Yep! Simply another reason we don’t need the federal government handling American job growth. We need to take the handcuffs like excessive regulation, the Obamacare abomination, and ever soaring taxes off the backs of small business owners and let them expand their businesses and hire people! Small businesses create jobs that do not need the federal government to steal money from medicare, social security, and tax payers to fund! I know … it’s so hard to grasp the concept; especially when your real agenda is simply increasing government power or if you are a useful idiot who can’t think past the progressive-liberal brainwashing that our public school system has forced down our kids throats for the past 30 years or more!
Sorry folks, it is not the federal government’s job to give your kid a musical instrument so he can play in the school band … that is the parents job! It is not the federal government’s job to remodel schools in local communities, that is the local government’s job. It is not the federal government’s job to tell you what to eat, think, read, listen to, play, watch, say, drive, ride, or otherwise do! That is your job! Be a man (or a woman … don’t want to be sexist here!). Make your choices … succeed or fail … but accept the responsibility for your choices … good or bad! You can always try again. That is freedom! That is liberty! And … that, my friends, is what America was once all about!
Finally, many American’s are waking up and catching on to the progressive-liberal elites that are tirelessly working to turn America into a nation of mindless morons (sheeple) that they can control and thus reap the benefits as the “benevolent American aristocracy.” And, as more Americans awaken … Obama’s poll numbers continue to drop. Perhaps that is why he recently blocked the deportation of 300,000 illegal aliens … he may need them as voters in November 2012!
Remember when Warren Buffett stated it was up to the rich to pay more taxes and that the government should raise taxes on the “rich.” Why then is Warren Buffett’s own company, Berkshire Hathaway, fighting tooth and nail to avoid paying their fair share? It seems that Berkshire Hathaway was given a great opportunity to set the example for us all and pay more taxes. Instead his company is bogged down in a protracted legal battle with the IRS to avoid paying an estimated $1 billion in back taxes his company now owes. Just another example of how very generous liberals are … as long as it is with other people’s money!!
Obama is just so bi-partisan; and just oozes with the spirit of political cooperation and fair play … don’t you think? Democratic strategist, James Carville, said Obama was way out-of-bounds when he scheduled his presidential address at the same time as the already scheduled Republican presidential debate. Carville stated that, given a choice between watching a debate and the speech, I would have watched the debate and I’m not even a Republican or even close to being a Republican!” Gotta love El Rushbo! In response to White House Press Secretary Carney’s glib denial of any partisan intent, Rush asked: “How much are you paid to lie to the American people, Jay?”
Maxine Waters strikes again. She wants Obama to use extortion to force banks to modify loans. It seems it is now up to the federal government to make sure people can afford their mortgages. If the “gangster” banks don’t do what she wants … Waters wants the government to “tax them out of business.” This is just further proof of the fact that liberal progressives consider taxation to be a means of punishing those they dislike as much as a way to fund the government. I do wonder if this policy applies to her husband’s bank as well?
Poor Obama is just so frustrated that Congress won’t “focus” on doing their jobs whining that, “It’s been a long time since Congress was focused on what the American people need them to be focused on.” Well, Mr. Obama … did you not just get back from vacation, a bus tour, and non-stop fund-raisers? What about the 80 rounds of golf this year? Isn’t this kind of like the “pot calling the kettle black?” Oops … I guess now I am being racist!
By the way, Mr. Obama, the Keystone XL pipeline would bring North American oil (from Canada, the Dakotas, and Montana) to oil refineries on the Gulf Coast here in the U.S. This would create more American jobs, mean lower energy costs (including lower prices at the pump), and develop a more secure energy supply. Approving the Keystone XL Pipeline would:
Provide relief to Americans struggling with the high costs of energy
Supply Americans with abundant North American energy and help lower overseas imports
Create tens of thousands of American jobs throughout the United States
Add billions in revenue to the federal government at a time of ballooning federal deficits
So what do you say Mr. Obama, how about doing something that can really simulate the American economy? Will your administration do some real good … and approve the Keystone XL pipeline? Time will tell ….
